Caution, the doors open

This year in Moscow there will be a Russian-Belarusian assembly production of elevators

Russia Belorusia

In the Memorandum of Joint Activity "Mogilevliftmash" and the Moscow enterprise "Vozduhotekhnika" agreed to move step by step from production cooperation to joint production of elevators on the basis of the Russian enterprise. The signing ceremony took place at the Belarusian embassy in Moscow.

FIRST LOCALIZATION, BECAUSE PRODUCTION

- Mogilevliftmash is one of the leaders in the elevator industry in the entire post-Soviet space. We know the Belarusian company as a quality and competitive partner. In addition, we already have experience of cooperation with the Mogilev plant "Electric Motor". With "Mogilevliftmash" we will work in stages, - said Oleg Sidorov, General Director of "Vozduhotekhnika".

The first step: nodal delivery, assembly and installation of elevators on the basis of "Vozduhotekhnika". The second: partial localization of production, allocation of the share of components from the production areas of the Russian enterprise.

"There is no sense in leading equipment from Russia to Mogilev, and then back to Moscow. This can save: reduce costs and increase competitiveness, "explains Sidorov. - Starting degree of localization - up to ten percent. Gradually it will reach 30 percent. These are frames, stretchers under the winch, details for framing from metal. Joint production will increase the number of jobs almost doubled. Now we have 350 employees.

In the Russian market, the Belarusian company is always among the leaders in the supply of elevators. So if last year in Russia installed more than 40 thousand lifts, of which about 10 thousand - Mogilev. For example, in the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, at Baikonur, in the St. Petersburg Admiralty.

- "Mogilevliftmash" actively cooperates with "Nizhegorodliftmash" and "Nevsky lift". In Moscow, we traditionally supplied a small number of elevators, so the new production will only give an additional impetus to the Russian-Belarusian cooperation, - said Sergei Chertkov, deputy general director of Mogilevliftmash.

NEW LIFTER IN EVERY HOSPITAL

The Russian-Belarusian production will be located in the south-west of Moscow, near the Moscow Ring Road. The planned capacity is up to ten thousand elevators a year. Also, production of elevators with the use of a modern component base will be set up here - without gear winches, telemetry systems, modern indicator displays. The main sales market is the central district of Russia, Moscow and the Moscow region. The first fruits of the Russian-Belarusian cooperation will be appreciated in the autumn - at the Fifth Forum of Regions in Mogilev.

- By 2020, according to the requirements of the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union, Russia should replace the old elevator park in the housing stock and social sphere. To ensure that elevators meet all modern safety requirements. So the Ministry of Construction of Russia launched the project of accelerated replacement of elevators, which is now being actively implemented in the regions. For example, last year it was possible to replace more than fifteen thousand elevators. But we also need additional production facilities, "said Sergei Chernyshov, president of the Association Russian Lift Association. - The next program that operates in Moscow is a renovation. It requires an increase in the volume of modern and high-quality elevators. And most importantly - the May decree of the President of Russia on the increase in the volume of housing construction by 2024 from 80 to 120 million square meters per year. In one and a half times increase the construction of multi-apartment, high-rise buildings, and therefore for their maintenance will need elevators.

Installation of elevators. The history of the appearance of the first skyscrapers

Montazh liftov Chikago

The first high-rise buildings began to erect as early as the beginning of the 19th century. Before that there was an opinion that the construction of high-rise buildings is unprofitable from the economic point of view. It is for this reason that at that time the height of the tallest buildings was not more than six floors, besides, the water pumps of the day were not of a special power, except that they were able to lift water only at a 15-meter height.

Over time, as elevators with powerful pumps were invented, it became possible to build taller buildings. The architects together with the builders came to the conclusion that it would be more acceptable to build high-rise buildings, in particular for densely populated megacities, where the saving of the building site is extremely important.
It is considered that the skyscraper, which was built in Chicago in 1885, was the first skyscraper in the whole world at that time. This building stood only 46 years, due to the fact that in 1931. it destroyed. Its height was only 55 meters, which is very insignificant in comparison with the current skyscrapers, but its design was quite interesting. All because at its construction for the first time used technology with a bearing steel frame. This principle is used to build high-rise buildings in our time. it is extremely interesting that this technology does not erect bearing walls, they are simply replaced by the previously mentioned steel frame, to which other elements of the high-rise building are attached, including walls.

In the 20th century, the construction of high-rise buildings in the largest cities was progressing very fast.
Despite the fact that in our time there are many opponents of building high-rise buildings, the future still after them. In addition, from the point of view of the economy, this is the most optimal option, also, if we pay attention to the fact that the problem of the lack of territory is very acute.

The materials used for the erection of such buildings are constantly being improved. Already in our day, more and more often you can meet the facing with solar panels, which will easily solve the problem of energy saving. In cities such as Dubai, London, Moscow and Paris, there are rotating skyscrapers (designed by David Fisher), their floors can rotate around their vertical axis located by means of special mechanisms. Also, between their floors are hidden wind turbines, which are designed to generate energy for rotation, as well as electricity throughout the entire building. The same rotation provides a vertical axis, directly on which elevators and communications are located. Therefore, the installation of elevators in skyscrapers is a very important moment in the construction of skyscrapers.

When creating projects of high-rise buildings, natural factors are always taken into consideration, because such a building can easily withstand possible hurricanes, strong and gusty winds, seismic activity and a number of other natural phenomena. One of the most urgent issues to date is the use of materials resistant to extreme temperatures, which make skyscrapers resilient to explosions. In connection with this, the Americans developed a unique material - reinforced concrete, reinforced with a special fiber. But then why in the development of new projects of skyscrapers preference is given to concrete? And this is due to the very high resistance to fire, in comparison with steel or glass, which is also often used in the construction of skyscrapers. In addition, now there is a great variety of different types of reinforced concrete, which can perfectly suit the construction of skyscrapers.

Speaking about the skyscrapers of the near future, I would also like to note that the main argument against high-rise construction is the statement that, allegedly, the skyscrapers spoil the architecture of the city. But it's not difficult to notice that the projects that are created by modern architects completely refute this view.

Installation of elevators. The tallest buildings

High-rise buildings have always been a testament to high technological achievements and the genius of human thought. In the modern world, the status of skyscrapers has increased even more. For cities and countries, the possession of super-high buildings brings not only prestige points, but also real people who want to see with their own eyes the latest technical and architectural achievements. Therefore, the race of "floors" is gaining ever higher speed. Builders produce installation of elevators of more complex structures and maintenance of elevators in skyscrapers has its own specifics for repair work.

The five tallest buildings in the world for 2018:

Burj Khalifa1

1. Burj Khalifa. The tallest building in the world. The height of the skyscraper is 828 meters, and the floors in it are 162, and 160 of them are residential. The building was named in honor of the current President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) - Sheikh Khalifa ibn Zayd al-Nahay. In the building installation of elevators in the amount of 57 pieces was made. But only the service elevator rises from the 1st floor to the very top. Residents of the same skyscraper have to move between floors with transplants. The speed of the elevators reaches 10 m / s. The opening ceremony of the giant skyscraper took place on January 4, 2010. The cost of building the facility amounted to $ 800 million. Construction lasted 6 years, with a speed of about 2 floors per week.

Shanghai Tower

2. The Shanghai Tower is a very tall building in Shanghai in the People's Republic of China. Buildings 632 meters high and a total area of 380,000 square meters. Next to the skyscraper are the Shanghai World Financial Center and the Jin Mao Tower.
On the channel "on the roofs" YouTube, two Russian-speaking extremals made their way to the construction site of the Shanghai Tower and scrambled to the mark of 650 meters. They were Vitaly Raskalov and Vadim Makhorov. Video on their channel today has gained more than 67 million views. You can see for yourself.

3. Abraj al-Bayt - a complex of skyscrapers, built in Saudi Arabia in Mecca.
By mass - this is the heaviest construction in the world and takes the third place in the world, after the tower of Burj Khalifa and Shanghai Tower.

The Royal Clock Tower Hotel

The highest skyscraper of the complex is the Royal Clock Tower Hotel. He serves as a hotel and receives about one hundred thousand pilgrims from 5 million, who annually come to Mecca for participation in the hajj.

The clock, located at around 400 meters, is the largest in the world. Dials with a diameter of 43 meters look at the four directions of the world, and the length of the minute hand is 22 meters, and the hour - 17. Giants-watches are visible from anywhere in the city.
The hotel "Royal Clock Tower" is a bit like Big Ben in London, but 6 times higher.
The 45-meter spire is crowned with a gilded crescent. On the spire are also in 160 very powerful loudspeakers, which broadcast a call to prayer for a distance of more than 7 km.

The highest building of the complex - the hotel "Royal Clock Tower" has a height of 601 meters. The construction was completed in 2012.

4. International Financial Center Pinan in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, China - is a complex of facilities, which includes a 599-meter, 115-storey skyscraper with a total area of 468,600 m². The construction was completed in 2017 and the building became the 2nd tallest in China, and the 4th, among the tallest buildings, apart from the TV tower.

According to the original design, the building had a height of 660 meters and would be the second in the world and the first in China in height, but later it was abandoned from the spire so as not to interfere with aviation flights, and the altitude was reduced to 599 meters.

Lotte World Tower

5. Lotte World Tower is a 555 meter skyscraper in 123 floors, in the entertainment complex Lotte World in Seoul, South Korea. Construction began in 2005, but was suspended due to restrictions, due to the nearby airport. Only in 2009 the restrictions were lifted and in February 2010 the construction resumed. Originally, according to the project, the height of the building 555 meters made it one of the tallest buildings in the world, but due to height restrictions, time was lost. The owner and the main contractor are the companies that are part of the Lotte group of companies.

The building is a slender cone with a convex middle part. Light glass panels of the facade resemble traditional Korean ceramics. The building is located on the bank of the river Hangan. From the first floor to the sixth floor are shops, from 7 to 60 - office space, from 61 to 85 - apartments and from 86 to 119 - are hotels. The highest observation deck is on floors 120 to 123 and is always open for free access.

On March 27, 2016, two Russian photographers climbed to the top of the crane and filmed a video clip of the ascent. Watch the video.

Service lift. History of creation

To date, conventional stationary elevators are used to transport passengers and goods between floors. Elevators for the transport of passengers should transport about 30 people, and special mine lifts take for more than a hundred passengers at a time. A simple elevator is capable of moving silently and delivering cargo at speeds up to 4 m / s. A high-speed passenger elevator can reach a speed of 17 m / s. The current freight elevators move loads up to 10 tons between the floors and do this at a speed of 1.5 m / s. In our time, home elevators are considered necessary to create a comfort device. Now it is difficult to even imagine that a multi-storey building functioned without an elevator. Members of modern society daily use elevators - both passenger and freight, but at the same time little knows how the freight elevator appeared. And the story of his origin is quite curious.

history otis

Someone is inclined to think that the semblance of the elevator known to us appeared in the 17th century in France, but in fact, the unit whose successor is the modern freight elevator, appeared a century later in America. Of course, Elisha Graves Otis, who lived at that time in America and who then worked on various construction sites and worked in a sawmill, deserved the elevator creator. When Otis was busy making beds in one of the furniture factories, it turned out that he had to develop a device capable of transporting to the upper floor of the sawing shop on the instructions of the management.

Otisu task seemed very unusual, but he coped with the challenge.

In less than a year, Otis presented his first serious invention to the world: a cargo elevator with a safety emergency system capable of slowing down the elevator car in case of a cable break. It was really the first freight elevator that was safe to use.

Subsequently, Otis founded a small company for the production and installation of freight elevators and elevators for people, which, as we all know, has become well known in a short time. And in 1854, Otis organized an unusually effective campaign in New York, which attracted a lot of new customers. In one exhibition hall with high ceilings, a cargo lift was installed for this case, which operated between supports at a 12-meter height. At the peak point of the construction was a man holding a real sword in his hands. On the platform of the freight elevator, among the construction sacks and boxes, Otis personally was in a dress suit and an elegant hat. Immediately after the elevator climbed to the very top, at the signal of Otis, the assistant with the sword chopped the rope, after which the platform began to fall down. However, after a meter or two, the protective braking mechanism worked and the platform froze in the air. After such an impressive spectacle, Otis cute bowed to the shocked audience, removing his elegant hat. It is not difficult to imagine how an unusual resonance provoked, then shown experiment.

Installation of elevators. Choice of freight elevator

Which is better to choose: a freight elevator or a cargo lift?

Practically any modern production, be it construction or any storage facilities, needs mechanization means for lifting various loads to a given height or a certain floor. And not only production. With the advent of the first high-rise buildings, the problem of lifting all kinds of cargo, from furniture to construction materials, has also become relevant for residents of the first "skyscrapers" and employees located in their offices. Thanks to the appearance of such remarkable lifting mechanisms as a modern cargo elevator and a cargo lift, we now do not need, like the ancient Egyptians, to use a complex system of levers and blocks and enormous physical strength for lifting even the heaviest loads to any man-made height.

gruzovoy lift

With regard to production, then if you need to address the issue of lifting a variety of goods, there is always the problem of choice, which is preferable - a freight elevator or a cargo lift. The tasks of these mechanisms are almost the same, but due to the fact that the production of freight lifts has a significantly lower cost, the price of these two devices is not comparable. A detailed consideration of this alternative, we now and will.

Cleanly structurally the cargo lift differs from the cargo lift in that the vertical movement of cargo is always done with the conductor, the control panel is located directly inside the cargo cabin, and for the operation of the elevator it is required to equip a special shaft that cuts the interior space of the building. In addition, any freight elevator must necessarily be registered with the state bodies of Rostekhnadzor, and this takes time and money.

gruzovoy podemnik

Taking into account all the above, the advantages of cargo lifts become obvious. Especially if it is a question of such lifting mechanisms, as lifts. It remains only to clearly formulate them and list them.

1. Constructive advantages of cargo lifts

  • There is no need to build a special mine. Cargo lifts can be reliably attached outside the building to any wall or floors with the help of such proprietary structural elements as masts and racks.
  • The lack of a control panel directly on the cargo lift itself does not interfere with its functionality, but only makes the design cheaper. The external control panel performs the same functions, either by sending a cargo cabin to the assigned floor.

2. Economic advantages of cargo lifts

  • Significantly lower freight elevator cost.
  • Reduced repair and maintenance costs.

3. Other benefits

  • Absence of the necessity of compulsory registration in the bodies of Rostechnadzor.
  • Ease of installation, dismantling and repair.
